Apollo is the WORST employer !
Apollo Transfer co. , LLC uses their non-CDL drivers to deliver box trucks from Moreno valley CA and from AZ , they don't pay enough to survive on the road for one , and not nearly enough to support a family . On my last trip , from Indiana to Idaho (I was transporting a RV) , i was suppose to collect about $700 , and they said NO WAY ! We're not paying the hotel costs and the return trip to Phoenix on the Greyhound from Idaho . We'll give you $120 , and feel lucky your getting that ! Keep in mind I had rent to pay . I busted my @ss for that company and thats how they treat their non-CDL drivers . APOLLO IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK FOR !!!

Apollo advertises for Non-CDL and CDL jobs. There is no NON-CDL jobs. It is a ruse. They do this to get a big response to the ad. They are trying to recruit CDL drivers to deliver Tractors piggy back. They pay way under what everyone else pays. You have to stay out 2 weeks and hope you can get a ride close to where you live. You have to stack and unstack the trucks for free. They do not pay return mileage. They pay no expenses what so ever.

They charge you $1.00 to cash their comp check to fuel their trucks or to eat.

This company recruites in many major cities, preying on good CDL drivers that are seeking an opportunity to make a decent living, during these tough economic times. They promise 60 - 80 cents a mile(not true)
What they don't tell you is that you must pay to fuel the vehicle you are transporting (no reimbursment - they provide a Comdata card for fuel, however if you use it, they deduct the fuel charges from your pay), you must pay your on way to the next vehicle pick up location, (you are not reimbursed and dispatch seems to never have anything set up that takes you to the next pick up location) they pay way under what everyone else pays.
