Worth every single centime. Bought some as a gift for a friend; had to google Julia to find out more and came across this review and Julia's response. How very gracious. I'm not a celebrity but I have friends and we like to treat each other. You can bet they ALL know where the good stuff came from!‎

Hi AZGiRL, not sure why the animosity. This is Julia Baker... and yes, while I am certain that I have not been face to face with a lot of the celebrities that I do make chocolate and cakes for, I do also have a large photo gallery with my celebrity clients that would contrast your review. I am also positive that our company has always shown up for every event that we have been hired for and I have not heard complaints from anyone at the Sanctuary about our desserts. I would love to extend a personal invitation to our factory for a tasting so that you can experience our desserts, cakes, and chocolates first-hand as well as learn more about my work, background, and expertise. It also sounds as if you may be out of a job - we may have something for you. I am sure that if we did work together at the Sanctuary, you know that I am a happy person to work with. Perhaps you were having a headache from something else? Regardless, the invitation is there... please call our office to set a time ...

Julia Baker is NOT the "chocolatier to the stars" as she would have everyone believe. I used to work at the Sanctuary in Paradise Valley and Julia Baker brought some of her chocolate to us asked us to give them as gifts to some of our celebrity guests. I know for a fact that she never met our guests nor did she do business with them. We asked for her help on a last minute banquet for one of our guests, she promised she would be there and she never showed up. I am the one that got in trouble due to her irresponsibility. Dessert was a disaster. She was very unpleasant to me and caused me some major headaches. Honestly, I can't recommend this overpriced person or company. Save yourself some BIG money and buy from someone else.‎
