Bad vibe at Milano'sā€Ž
Hi, my name is Jeremy and I can't stand this store. For one I would never buy an acoustic guitar at Milano's. I've been playing acoustic for 18 yrs; I'm no guitar tech but I know obvious issues when I play a guitar. I sat down with 3 different $500 acoustics that each had issues, which at that price point should not be present. All guitars I tested were name brands but I don't remember which ones were which- didn't know I'd be doing this review. On one of them the A string was buzzing badly at the 12th fret, another I couldn't get to tune properly, and the third had action set way too high, even for a $500 guitar. I sat down in the acoustic room (which is usually under lock and chain, literally) and tried out a couple of $3000 guitars, while, at one point, an ornery looking associate hovered over me. The 1st guitar suprised me because again the action was set too high, which at that price point is an absolute joke. The other one seemed all right. The ...

Can't Miss Music Store - So-So...
Milano's has been an east valley institution for years and is the first music store I remember visiting. They have a wonderful selection of guitars and pro-level keyboards. That said, the customer service in those departments leaves much ...

Money Chasers
This place is great if you're in a symphonic group and need some supplies for your stringed, brass, or woodwind instrument. They've also got a lot of great other instruments. But when it comes to guitars, these guys will only help you or be "nice" if you've got the cash. They take the fun out of playing an instrument and make it seem like their commission supported pockets have holes in them. If you even touch a guitar or an amplifier without having intentions on actually purchasing it that same day, they'll turn their shoulder and never look back. These guys aren't musicians, they're the used car salesmen of musical instruments. But the selection is great! Just don't talk to anyone.ā€Ž

Voice lessons for my son
My son took lessons for many years at Linton Milano Music. He had a normal voice no special ability but he now sings like a caroling angel. He is definitely one of the very best singers in the country because of his instructor Diane Noble. ...

Every time I've ever been to Milano's...
I loved the experience! It's a store full of instruments of all kinds, sheet music and even offers instrument repairs and has a very experienced staff. I'd say Milano's is one of, if not the best music stores in the entire Phoenix metro area! ...
