Originally visited the facility and it made a great impression. Decided to try it out during my maternity leave to see if we'd place our son there full time upon my return to work in October. The actions by the owner during the first week indicated that this may not be the best place for our child. We explicitly requested that he would be placed in a class with his anchor friend to ensure a smooth transition into the school. Our needs were discounted even after we've attempted to communicate the importance of slow transitions to our son, his need for a consistent environment and the many changes that our son was dealing with at the moment to the owner. The statement that stayed with me was -- " I need to do what is best for the whole class rather than your individual child."
