Get the brownie!

Everytime I'm in downtown Mesa with my daughter to visit the AZ Museum for Youth we go to Sweet Cakes. Their sandwiches are, usually, very fresh tasting and usually very good, plus you always get a pickle and small cookie with your meal, and the ambiance is nice. It's a decent price in downtown Mesa and is definitely a family-friendly place. Glad they're there!

This place has the BEST gift baskets! None of this prepackaged stuff that you can pick up anywhere. They have fresh assorted cookies and treats that are fantastic! I give them to my clients for the holidays and I KNOW that my gifts are the ones the remember!

I love this place, especially when I am pregnant! It's just what I need when I don't feel like making my own food. The soups and breads are homemade and the desserts melt in your mouth. You have to try it!

When you need a snack and are in the vicinity of Downtown Mesa, this is a great place to pop in for a cookie and a drink. Friendly staff, cute cafe. They also serve lunch food, but I've not sampled that yet. The place is very clean, and when it's not a meal-time, it's a good place to sit and relax in a quiet atmosphere.
